I just finished making 4 and 1/2 pints of Strawberry Jam this afternoon. The four pints will go in the pantry and the 1/2 pint will be put in the refrigerator for using right away.
Later this evening I will be making Blackberry Jelly from juice that I froze last year. I just noticed today that the blackberries are starting to ripen. Dad and Mae will be calling soon wanting me to come over and pick berries in the back yard. Dad makes an awesome Blackberry Barbeque Sauce for chicken. I'm going to have to pin him down on the recipe so I can add it to my family recipe book.
