Happy Earth Day to all my family and friends. Today is a day to celebrate our wonderful Earth and to learn more about taking care of it.
Rich and I have been busy this morning getting ready to go to the dump. We only have approximately 1 trash can of garbage every 6 - 8 weeks....sometimes it isn't full. We try to recycle as much as possible. Today is recycling day......tin cans, plastics, milk jugs, newspaper, etc. We usually only take items for recycling every other month.
The Earth Day Fair will be this Saturday at the fairgrounds. Last year we attended and had a lot of fun. We got lots of information, free samples, 2 trees to plant and we got to build birdhouses, bird feeders and suet feeders.
