I love pita bread so I decided to try and make it. They turned out really good for my first attempt. They are just a little thicker than ones I have bought. I made tuna salad sandwiches out of them. I loved them...........but Rich wasn't too impressed. He thought they were too chewy. Monday, June 25, 2007

Wow, I'm so impressed that you actually made your own pita breads! You are such a talented cook/baker/canner. One of my favorite lunch spots is a snadwich shop called The Sheik and I always get a turkey pita... so yummy!
